FOOD CHAIN: SERIES OF GROUPS OF ORGANISM. IT IS A SERIES OF GROUP OF ORGANISM CALLED TROPHIC LEVEL IN WHICH THERE IS REPEATED EATING AND EATEN BY SO AS TO TRANSMIT FOOD ENERGY IS CALLED FOOD CHAIN.
CHARACTERSTICS OF FOOD CHAIN
1.IN A FOOD CHAIN THEREVIS REPEATED EATING IN WHICH EACH GROUP EATS THE SMALLER AND IT IS EATEN BY THE LARGER ONE .

3. USUALLY THERE ARE FOUR OR FIVE TROPHIC LEVEL IN A FOOD CHAIN SHORTER FOOD CHAIN WILL PROVIDE GREATER ENERGY.
4. A FOOD CHAIN IS ALWAYS STRAIGHT.
