WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF RAINBOW EFFECT ?
CAUSE OF RAINDOW EFFECT: WHEN IT IS RAINING WHICH SUDDENDLY STOP AND SUN SHINE IMMEDIATELY WHICH IS AT THE BACK OF OBSERVER DURING NOT HUMID DAYS, HE OBSERVE A BEAUTIFUL PATTERN OF COLOURS IN FRONT OF HIM WHICH IS CALLED RAINDOW.
IT IS THE SPECTRUM OF SUNLIGHT IN NATURE. IT IS GENERALLY FORMED AFTER THE RAIN IT IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT WATER DROPLETS IN THE ATMOSPHERE ACT AS TINY PRISMS WHEN THE RAYS OF SUNLIGHT FALL ON THESE RAIN DROPLETS, THEY REFRACTS, REFLECT AND DISPERSE TO FORM RAINDOW.
THUS RAINDOW IS THE PHENOMENON OF REFLECTION, REFRACTION AND DISPERSION OF LIGHT.
